I just wanted to post a video that I made a few weeks ago after we learned how to do the data moshing technique. It's pretty janky overall, but I was pretty proud of myself for figuring out how to do it. So, if anyone wants to use the technique and is having trouble, I may be able to help you out too! :)

good work with this, Liz. You got the technique to work well and the pumpkin guy absorbs the color nicely. Maybe try moshing him back into his own movements to see what happens when the image accumulates more distortion.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I recently found out that you can scroll through p frames one at a time, copy one, paste it in the same spot 2 or 3 times, do this every so many frames, save it, and crazy things happen! give it a try.
ReplyDeleteI would love to work on the datamoshing technique more, but I haven't decided weather or not to use it in the final. I might though, since it seems to want to be in my video anyway.
