It's pretty interesting how the interpretations for the different audiences are so different already! Are you going to do more than just the opening song? Because from what you were talking about before, it sounds like there is some much more interesting disconnects between the translations. But it looks great so far! :D
Hey Maggie, I agree with Liz. This looks really great in terms of how you're cutting it and playing with the audio. I think you've got the technique down. But I think there is so much more to work with in the actual episodes that you talked about that could make this a piece that has a lot more to offer. I think you could maybe even get a bit more drastic with your cutting. Perhaps you only have a section of the intro song when the lyrics are the most potent and interestingly different, then you cut to a really juicy section of an episode. It may be a project that takes some time, perhaps even beyond the bounds of this class, but I'm certain that if you completed it and got a really tight edit, you could get this shown somewhere easily. I think you hit the jackpot with your idea, the cut just needs to be pulled together. Good work!
